GLEESON, Cochise County, Arizona - Old house: Gleeson is not a ghost town because a few people still live there (not in this house). However, ruins of the old mining town are abundant. - Infirmary 4: The Gleeson jail is in the background. - Jail: Design of the Gleeson jail is almost identical to the Courtland jail, but smaller. - Rattlesnake Crafts: A trip to Gleeson wouldn't be complete without stopping at Rattlesnake Crafts. The crafts, all made with rattlesnake skin, rattles, and some heads, are for sale inside a small trailer. Surrounding the trailer is a myriad of antique and just plain old items displayed on a framework of boards. Most items are tied to the boards with string. None of the items displayed outdoors are for sale. Before leaving Rattlesnake Crafts, don't forget to stop in the gift shop. - Gleeson Road: This photo was taken about six miles west of Gleeson. You are looking west. The town in the distance at the left of the photo is Tombstone.
