FAIRBANK, Cochise County, Arizona - Fairbank is a ghost town. There are camping facilities, picnic tables, and trails to walk along the San Pedro River. Fairbank is located on the north side of AZ 82, just east of the San Pedro River. Post Office: Fairbank once had a population of almost 500 residents, enough for the town to have its own post office. - Post Office sign: The post office lettering is on the light portion of the wall between the window and door on the left (see previous photo). - Old building 4: Broken windows were covered with plywood then painted to look like a window. I think this takes away from the authenticity of the ruins and gives the buildings a storybook appearance. - San Pedro sign: Fairbank is located within the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area.
