DURAN, New Mexico - Old store: This old building was right on Highway 54. I just had to stop and take pictures of it. The front of the building indicates it was a hardware, grocery, and feed store. Notice the railroad crossing symbol in the road in one of the photos; we did have to wait for a train to pass before we could get back onto the highway. - Old church: Across the train tracks and down the street from the old store was an old church. It, too, called out to have its picture taken.
